The Fortune Teller

May 28, 2017 by Distracted in Alberta

Why is it always “on the money”?

Its by random chance that this fortune is in a box and YOUR Waiter pulls it out of the box and gives it to your table. And magically by another random selection it is now yours.

Thats the FUN of fortune cookies!

  • A secret adventure is in store for you
  • Your efforts will be worthwhile
  • Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst
  • A friend is a present you give yourself
  • You find beauty in ordinary things. Do not lose this ability
  • Be patient. Good things come to those who wait

And why do they have numbers?

  • 11 20 23 24 36 44
  • 14 18 20 22 42 43
  • 2 7 13 17 33 49
  • 4 10 24 25 29 47
  • 10 11 14 18 28 42
  • 3 4 14 23 36 49

What does it all mean? Is it really just good fun? Or is there something MORE behind the fortune cookie?

I’m going to do a bit of research on the history of the fortunes behind the cookie And in the meantime;

What are your opinions on the Fortune Cookie?
